Biography

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to New Jersey with my family at the age of 10. I’ve been living in Edison ever since with my parents and two younger sisters.

I attended John P. Stevens High School from 1999-2003, and then went on to work full-time in childcare post-graduation.

I’ve been out in the workforce since I was 13 years old. I am Currently a nanny for a family with three children.

In 2005 I moved to Wilmington, North Carolina where I lived for a year while attending Cape Fear Community College. At the end of my spring semester there I moved back to N.J. and enrolled in Middlesex County College.

I am currently attending there now. I have been a part of Quo Vadis, the college’s school newspaper, since 2007. I’ve worked my way up from staff writer to editor-in-chief.

While living in Wilmington, N.C. I worked at the Star News in distribution as a news carrier. My job description was to place the sections inside the paper, package them and then deliver the papers to the house/apartments on my route before 7 a.m.

Come September of 2010 I will be looking for a job in the newspaper industry to gain some more hands on experience while I attend Columbia University.
